Il condom che cambia colore se si hanno MST- malattie sessualmente trasmesse

A group of Teens, from Isaac Newton Academy in Illford,  Just Invented a 'smart' condom that changes colour when it detects a STD ( sexually transmitted disease) could help to cut the spread of the illnesses.

Students have designed a condom concept that changes colour when in the presence of bacteria or viruses that cause common sexually transmitted infections. Molecules in the rubber would glow different colours depending on the disease being detected. Pictured is an example of what the condom might look like
     Tre ragazzi di 14 anni, della London’s Isaac Newton Academy, hanno inventato un preservativo che cambia colore se viene a contatto con agenti patogeni sessualmente trasmessi.
Il preservativo si chiama S.T.EYE e può prevenire la diffusione delle malattie a trasmissione sessuale, attualmente in crescita. E' dotato di uno strato interno di molecole indicatore che, attaccandosi ai batteri e ai virus, modificano il colore del lattice a seconda della malattia trasmissibile, verde per la clamidia, giallo per l'herpes, viola per il papilloma virus, blu per la sifilide. I ragazzi hanno vinto il premio per le innovazioni in campo sanitario alla Tenn Tech Awards 2015, 1000 sterline ed un viaggio a Buckingham Palace.
